I spent all this time trying to
Unlock something in him
And
It is hard because
I had always been the key
I knew I was
Whenever we had been here before
I had always been the key
As he had for me
That could unlock him and help him move through things
But
Unbeknownst to me he went and changed the locks
So when I last tried
All I did was break
Snap
Bend
And now I am no key at all
Just half a broken metal piece of shrapnel
And a permanently closed door
