I'm back in Cornwall and still giggling after a fantastic weekend on loan to Cardiff for the City of the Unexpected event. Organised by Wales Millennium Centre and National Theatre Wales to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth in the city, the event attracted truly enormous crowds.
As one of the "unexpected" characters tasked with animating the streets for the day I was lucky enough to engage with many happy visitors and got to deliver some of my most outrageous cry's to date! From announcing the wedding of Miss Ladybird to the head of the welsh fire brigade, to warnings about witches and public pleas to save a giant peach there was never a dull shout.
I will will be reflecting further on this performance in the near future but for now i just wanted to share this brilliant snap(photo credit;Mary Wycherley)and flag up this generous mention I got from the BBC!
I hope you all had a truly Glorumptious weekend too!
God Save the Peach!!!
